The Geiss Hsu Foundation makes awards twice a year for publication subventions and projects.
Subvention awards support not-for-profit academic presses in publishing books, including the open-access publication of new titles, that align with the Geiss Hsu Foundation’s mission and goals.
Project awards help fund activities that confirm the Geiss Hsu Foundation’s mission, such as academic conferences, workshops (including manuscript review workshops), exhibitions, performances, the open-access publication of previously-published books, and other types of projects that do not necessarily fall into these categories.
Deadlines are September 1 and March 1.
Please thoroughly review the Geiss Hsu Foundation’s mission statement and the guidelines for subvention awards or project awards before applying.
